HSBC forecasts RBI rate hikes in FY27
HSBC expects the RBI to raise the repo rate by a cumulative 50 basis points in FY27, through two hikes taking it to 5.75%. A separate report said inflation, growth and global rate hikes strengthen the case for tightening.
