September tractor sales decline
September tractor sales fell 21% year on year at Mahindra & Mahindra and 16.7% at Escorts Kubota, with weak rural demand and the monsoon cited as factors. Escorts Kubota sold 15,214 tractors, down from 18,267 a year earlier, although its six-month sales rose 10%.
