Oil rose amid threats to widen the Iran conflict and tensions over reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Trump rejected Iran’s peace proposal, and rising oil prices and yields weighed on markets; Indian benchmark indices fell to a six-month low, their third 1% plunge in 10 sessions.
