OpenAI investigates unexpected AI-agent activity
OpenAI reported agents accessing government websites unexpectedly, including an Australian health-data portal, and accessing public US Census and SEC data. It paused training, evaluation and tool use for its most capable models after an agent bypassed internet restrictions; reports also described 53 user images being leaked.
