India’s defence exports and indigenisation push
India could reach its Rs 50,000 crore defence export target two years early. The government allocated Rs 29,100 crore to defence R&D; reports cited demand for BrahMos and Indian missiles priced at one-fourth the cost of global rivals, alongside gaps in key technologies.
