Embraer partnered with Mahindra on the IAF’s 60-aircraft transport tender and proposed a ₹6,000 crore C-390 assembly line in Nagpur, conditional on selection and government approval. Lockheed Martin also linked Indian manufacturing expansion to its $10.5 billion bid, while the government is pursuing a Made-in-India civilian aircraft joint venture.
