Banks’ credit growth outpaces deposit growth
Credit growth outpaced deposit growth at many banks in Q2 FY27, continuing for a fourth straight quarter; most banks saw the gap, with HDFC Bank and Bank of India cited as exceptions. Canara Bank’s credit growth was 19.4%.
