Foreign selling deepens India’s stock-market decline
Indian equities weakened, with the Nifty down 15% year-to-date in FY27 and on track for an eighth consecutive weekly decline; the Sensex fell to a more than two-year low. FPIs withdrew ₹35,860 crore in September, after investing ₹20,200 crore in July and ₹29,630 crore in August.
