SEBI's Project Jagrook investor-awareness drive
SEBI directed brokers to display investor-awareness messages on their websites and apps under Project Jagrook. SEBI, AMFI and market institutions later teased a new investor-focused initiative, while SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey warned against finfluencers, anonymous tips and exaggerated return claims.
