Private fuel retailers’ diesel sales caps
Jio-BP and Nayara capped diesel sales at some outlets as crude and global diesel prices rose and industrial buyers shifted from bulk purchases to cheaper retail fuel. The Centre said retailers must not restrict sales; Nayara said supplies continued across more than 7,000 outlets.
