Indian equities slide amid FII selling and global concerns
The Nifty fell for seven consecutive weeks and September losses reached nearly 7%, amid global concerns and heavy foreign investor selling. FIIs sold ₹11,490 crore in one week and nearly ₹10,000 crore on Tuesday, while domestic institutions bought shares; the Nifty hit its lowest level since April 2.
