Indian stocks fall sharply
The Sensex fell as much as 1,012.84 points, or 1.39%, to 71,467.45, while the Nifty 50 dropped as much as 346.8 points, or 1.53%, below 22,300. A report put this week’s market-value wipeout at ₹20 lakh crore.
