Growth in India's industrial employment
India's industrial workforce crossed 2 crore in 2024-25, while manufacturing employment exceeded 21 million. Registered-industry employment reached 2.10 crore, up from 1.96 crore in FY24, and registered manufacturing added over 14 lakh workers.
