Vodafone Idea's free roaming offer and funding needs
Vodafone Idea introduced free international roaming on select prepaid, postpaid and enterprise plans for up to three trips a year. Its shares rose 1.84% intraday to ₹14.38; later reports cited subscriber gains and improving ARPU, but said the company still needs substantial funding for its ₹45,000 crore capex plan.
