Iran conflict and uncertainty over oil supplies
Oil rose as the Iran conflict and deadlocked ceasefire discussions heightened concerns about regional exports, with Brent briefly topping $106 a barrel. Iran threatened Gulf oil trade, while crude flows through the Strait of Hormuz averaged above 10 million barrels per day.
